To provide a lubricant for metal forming process which excels in adhesion when coated on a high-temperature article to be coated, excels in lubricity and seizure-prevention performance at high temperatures in performing metal forming process, prevents breakage, buckling, and a surface flaw in its forming, and can be easily removed after the forming process, a metal forming material coated therewith, and a metal forming process.

The lubricant comprises 3-30% oily agent and the balance being a soluble type aqueous resin composed of at least one kind of a urethane resin and an acrylic resin having a molecular weight of 5,000-100,000. The oily agent is composed of at least one or two kinds of an ether ester type and an amino alcohol type.
