Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject oil which can finish the surfaces of the processed products good with corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance markedly increased and elongate the life of process tools by using a specific straight-chain olefin in a specific amount.
CONSTITUTION: The oil composition contains more than 0.5wt.%, particularly 6 to 20wt.% of 6 to 40C straight-chain olefin (particularly straight-chain α-olefin of 12 to 30 carbon atoms such as 1-octene, 1-decene, 1-dodecene, 1-tetradecene, 1-hexdecene, 1-eicosene or 1-dococene).
