PURPOSE: To obtain a lubricant capable of reducing wear of rail and wheel and fuel of engine by blending synthetic esterification product of rosins and aliphatic alcohol, etc., with a solid lubricant in a specific amount.
CONSTITUTION: The aimed lubricant comprises blending (A) a synthetic esterification product obtained by reacting (i) one or more kind of rosins among rosin, asymmetric rosin, hydrogenated rosin and polymerized rosin with (ii) one or more kind of compounds selected from among an aliphatic alcohol, glycol ether and glycol or glycerin, trimethylolethane, trimethylolpropane and triethanolamine and tripropanolamine with (B) an inorganic and/or organic solid lubricant consisting of mica, graphite, molybdenum disulfide and polytetrafluoroethane, etc., in an amount of 0.1-30wt.%.
