Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant having high lubricating performance at low cost.SOLUTION: The lubricant of the present invention comprises a base oil and a cellulose nanofiber dispersed in the base oil. It is preferable that at least a part of a surface of the cellulose nanofiber is modified with a carboxy group. It is more preferable that an onium ion is included as a counter ion of the carboxy group. The onium ion is preferably an ammonium ion. The average fiber width of the cellulose nanofiber is preferably from 1 nm or more to 500 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
