Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the coefficient of friction of a planetary gear mechanism contained in a case by using a powdered solid lubricant which fits well to the material of gears in the mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A powdered solid lubricant comprising graphite and CaP2 is sealed into a case 14 of a planetary gear mechanism 1 connected as a change gear to a motor 2 and attached to the friction surfaces of mating gears to form a lubricant film on the surfaces.
