Abstract:
To provide a lubricating coating composition exclusively used for a cold rolled steel sheet in which various properties such as film removability with an alkali, molding processability, powdering resistance, and weldability are improved.
The coating composition comprises an acrylic resin and a neutralizer. The acrylic resin comprises a copolymer (a) of a methacrylate composed of methacrylic acid and an alcohol, styrene and a monomer having a carboxyl group, a polymer (b) of a polymerizable compound having an ether linkage, and an organic solid wax having a melting point of 60C or higher as a lubricant, wherein the ratio of the copolymer (a) to the polymer (b) is in the range from 85:15 to 50:50.
