To provide a lubricating device of an engine for a small vessel capable of preventing the seizure of the engine by supplying the desired amount of oil until the engine is stopped in turning over the small vessel.

In this lubricating device where the oil stored in a bottom part of a crank case of the engine for small vessel is sent to an oil tank 34 by means of a recovering pump, the oil in the oil tank is circulated in the engine by a force-feed pump to lubricate each part of the engine, a periphery of an upper opening part of the oil force-feed pipe 40 penetrated through the bottom part of the oil tank 34 and opened into the oil tank 34 is surrounded by a baffle plate 41. According to this invention, the oil is stored in the baffle plate 41, and the oil stored in the baffle plate 41 is supplied to each part of the engine until the engine is stopped, so that the seizure of the engine caused by the shortage of the oil can be effectively prevented when the oil tank 34 is turned upside down by the turning-over of the small vessel.
