To prevent size of a power transmission device from being enlarged when reducing stirring resistance of oil supplied to a gear of the power transmission device, reduce stirring resistance of oil quickly, and prevent occurrence of useless power loss effectively.
Oil for lubricating the gear 27 is stored in an internal bottom part 26 of a casing 10. This lubricating device is provided with a first catch tank 30 for catching and storing oil 27 scraped up from the internal bottom part 26 of the casing 10 by a ring gear 16 and a second catch tank 31 provided separately from the first catch tank 30 to catch and store the oil 27 scraped up from the internal bottom part 26 of the casing 10 by a driving gear 24. A return orifice 34 for returning oil 27 in internal bottom parts of the first and second catch tanks 30, 31 into the internal bottom part 26 of the casing 10 by natural flow is formed.
