Abstract:
To provide a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine capable of properly securing lubrication of the engine when the viscosity of the lubricant changes.
A lubricating device 1 of this internal combustion engine includes an oil pump 2 for supplying a lubricant to the engine, and a hydraulic control portion 3 for controlling oil pressure of the lubricant from this oil pump 2. In the lubricating device 1 of this internal combustion engine, the oil pressure control portion 3 changes the oil pressure of the lubricant provided to the engine from the oil pump 2 based on a predetermined threshold value. In this case, the threshold value is changed according to the viscosity of the lubricant.
