Abstract:
To provide a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine wherein a scavenging pump and a feed pump are arranged in the engine body, the internal combustion engine having a reduced size in the direction along the axis of a crankshaft.
In the lubricating device for the internal combustion engine, an oil tank is constituted by a crank case cover joined to one of a pair of crank case halves constituting a crank case and a tank cover joined to the crank case cover, and the scavenging pump for supplying oil from a crank chamber to the oil tank and the feed pump for supplying the oil from the oil pump to lubricated parts of the engine body are arranged in the engine body. The feed pump 65 is arranged in the oil tank 67.
