Abstract:
PURPOSE: To supply lubricant as necessary by providing a resin made lubricating pinion which is engaged with a rack, and which includes solid lubricant for breaking rotation.
CONSTITUTION: A driving pinion 2 is rotated by a motor 4, and a rack 1a installed on the side surface of a carrier truck 1 is driven in an arrow direction. The driving pinion 2 is made of stainless steel (SUS440), and thereby, it can resist a force larger than that of a resin made one. A lubricating pinion 5 made of PEEK resin is driven opposing to friction of a break washer 8 which is brought in contact with the side surface of the pinion 5 by the rack 1a. Frictional force can be increased by fastening of a nut 10. The gear surface of the rack 1a is coated with solid lubricant molybdenum disulfide which is included in the materials of the lubricating pinion 5. Lubricating action of the rack 1a and the driving pinion 2 is applied by the coated molybdenum disulfide. Smooth operation is thus possible without generating seizure and abnormal abrasion.
