In a lubricating device for a rotary hook 1 having an inner hook 3 rotatably accommodated in an outer hook 2 which is rotationally driven, a central oil reservoir chamber 23 to which lubricating oil is supplied is formed in the center of a bottom surface part 10 of the outer hook 2. In addition, a felt 24 as an impregnation member impregnated with the lubricating oil is accommodated in the oil reservoir chamber 23. A manual oil supply hole 26 is provided on the inner hook 3 side of the central oil reservoir chamber 23. An oil delivery passage is provided so as to connect the central oil reservoir chamber 23 and a groove 9 of the outer hook 2. On the center side of a bottom surface part 36 of the inner hook 3, a manual oil supply hole 51 is provided so as to correspond to the manual oil supply hole 26. As a result, when a bobbin case 40 is removed from the inner hook 3 at a position where the outer hook 2 stops rotating, the manual oil supply hole 51 is exposed on the center side of the inner bottom surface part 36, and oil can be manually supplied from the manual oil supply hole 51 to the manual oil supply hole 26 of the outer hook 2.
