Abstract:
PURPOSE:To restrain the V-belt from heating and abrasion by a method wherein a nozzle to inject lubricating oil against a predetermined place where the V-belt passes at all times is provided to lubricate the part of the metal laminated layer band of the V-belt. CONSTITUTION:The V-belt 3 of the stepless speed change gear is wound around an input pulley 1 and an output pulley 2 with a tension so as to transmit the motions of both of them. The V-belt 3 is equipped with horizontal slits 5 at both sides of a block 4 to fit the laminated layer band 9 thereinto while the lower part of the block 4 is provided with a taper 7 below the slits 5, and the block and the bands are connected restrictedly. The distance of the pulleys 1, 2 for the stepless speed change gear is varied in accordance with the change of speed, however, the V-belt 3 passes the places A, B at all time, therefore, the nozzles 10 for injecting the lubricating oil against the places are provided. The metallic laminated layer band 9 may be lubricated by injecting the lubricating oil from the nozzles 10 at all times.
