PURPOSE: To continuously execute uniform lubrication by gradually feeding a grease-like lubricant between the inside surface of tube stock and a plug during reeling and rolling a tube, to drastically increase the number of tubes rolled until plug flaws are generated due to the decrease the abrasion loss of the plug and to efficiently execute reeling and rolling of the tube good in inside surface properties.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of reeling and rolling the tube in a reeler when the tube is made with a Mannesmann plug mill, the plug 2 just before being used for reeling and rolling the tube is coated with the grease-like lubricant 3 from its shoulder part to a slightly rear part so that the ratio of thickness of coating/area to be coated is ≥1/104 (1/mm).
