Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress deteriorating a sliding characteristic on a sliding surface by preventing its oxidation due to oxygen provided to fuse in a water soluble lubricant, in the case of using the water soluble lubricant in the metal sliding surface.
CONSTITUTION: In a lubricating method for a metal sliding surface, oxygen, provided to fuse in a water soluble lubricating liquid in a lubricating liquid tank 1, is removed to supply a deoxidated water soluble lubricating liquid to a sliding surface of a metal material through pipes 2, 3, 4. As the deoxidation processing method, a method of releasing gas, having solubility relating to water larger than oxygen, added by a pipe 5 into the water soluble lubricating liquid in the lubricating liquid tank 1, method of making the water soluble lubricating liquid in the lubricating liquid tank pass through in a pressure reduced region and a method of adding an agent of deoxidizing oxygen provided to fuse to the water soluble lubricating liquid in the lubricating liquid tank are provide.
