Abstract:

To provide a lubricating oil composition and a grease composition which can largely improve lubricating life at a high temperature accompanying the severe duty of the service condition of a rolling bearing.

The lubricating oil composition used for a rolling bearing comprises blending 0.05-10 wt.% of fullerene based on the whole lubricating oil composition, moreover the grease composition includes a base oil and a thickener and comprises blending 0.05-10 wt.% of fullerene based on the whole grease composition. In these compositions, the fullerene is blended as a compounding agent dispersed in an organic solvent which dissolves in the base oil of the compositions.
