To provide a lubricating oil composition attaining a well-balanced combination of all of the wearing resistance and sludge generation inhibition and frictional properties on a high level, capable of improving hydraulic systems and inhibiting squeaking at a cylinder section.
The invention relates to the lubricating oil composition characterized by comprising, at least a base oil selected from mineral oils, fats and synthetic oils, a phosphorus-containing carboxylic acid compound, a phosphorus compound antiwear agent which is a phosphorus compound excluding the phosphorus-containing carboxylic acid compound and contains no sulfur, and an oily agent. With the lubricating oil composition, an improvement of a well-balanced combination of wearing resistance and sludge generation inhibition and frictional properties can be sufficiently attained, and the improvement of the hydraulic system and inhibition of squeaking at a cylinder section can be attained.
