Abstract:
To provide a lubricating oil composition capable of keeping the dispersion state of a solid lubricant dispersed in a base oil good for a long time without damaging fluidity, load-bearing properties and friction characteristics of the lubricant even when prepared without using an organic solvent.
The lubricating oil composition is prepared by incorporating a solid lubricant into a base oil comprising a synthetic oil in an amount of 0.1-5 wt.% solid lubricant based on the composition, and further incorporating, to the resultant mixture, a lithium-based soap, a lithium-based complex soap or a urea-based compound in a weight ratio of 0.10-0.50 relative to the amount of the solid lubricant.
