Abstract:

PURPOSE: To forcibly supply high pressure gas containing oil to a journal bearing, by making openings on the outer periphery of a driving axis as well as on the part facing to a journal bearing provided between a revolving supporting body and an oscillating slant plate through the passage in the revolving supporting body.

CONSTITUTION: When crank pressure becomes below the fixed value, a bellows 40 expands, and an air supply passage 22 is opened. Accordingly, discharge gas is taken into a crank chamber 9 from a discharge chamber 6 through an air supply passage 31 in order to stop reduction of pressure in the crank chamber 9. Then, since gas, flowing into the crank chamber 9 from the discharge chamber 6 through the air supply passage 31, passes through narrow space between the outer periphery of a boss part 20a and the inner periphery of a journal bearing 23, pressure in the crank chamber 9 gradually goes high, and meanwhile said bearing 23 and a thrust bearing 24 are lubricated by oil contained in the gas.
