Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase efficiency in removing mixed cooling water and dust from lubricant, and to reduce the size of a facility.
SOLUTION: The inside of a housing surrounded by a seal plate 54 and a cartridge body 28 is divided into a first chamber A including a first structural component and a second chamber B including a second structural component by a partition 58. Cooling water is supplied into a work roll 18. A drain from the first chamber A is not connected to a moisture removing unit, and the only drain 62 from the second chamber B is connected to the moisture removing unit.
