Abstract:
PURPOSE:To feed lubricating oil amply by supplying it to the bearing of the other crank chamber from one crank chamber utilizing a differential pressure between the crank chambers varied in the phase. CONSTITUTION:The lower part of a bearing 16 of a second crank chamber 2 is connected to the upper part of a bearing 14 of a first crank chamber 3 by way of a check valve 31. Then, the lower part of a bearing 17 of a third crank chamber 3 is connected to the lower part of a drive gear 24 for driving an oil pump of a fourth crank chamber 4 and the upper part of a bearing 18 thereof by way of a check valve 32. In addition, the lower part of the bearing 18 of the fourth crank chamber 4 is connected to the lower part of the bearing 16 by way of a check valve 33. When a piston 27 of the crank chamber 3 lowers to increase the pressure while a piston 28 of the crank chamber 4 rises to reduce the pressure, a lubricating oil in the crank chamber 3 is fed to the bearing 18 of the crank chamber 4 due to a differential pressure by way of the check valve 32.
