Abstract:
To provide a method capable of detecting a sign for burning of a bearing device at relatively low cost.SOLUTION: A lubrication defect determination device for a roller bearing has: normalization means which performs, on a spectrogram generated from a sound generated by the roller bearing, normalization processing along a time direction for each frequency; averaging means which uses values after the normalization processing to perform averaging processing; calculation means which uses values after the averaging processing to calculate a sound parameter; and determination means which determines whether or not the roller bearing is defective in lubrication based upon whether or not the sound parameter exceeds a predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
