PURPOSE: To provide a lubrication oil for pipe expansion, usable either as a stock liquid or as an aqueous emulsion, by mixing a lubrication oil with specific amounts of a dimer acid alkyl ester, a polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether, and a fatty acid monoester of glycerol.
CONSTITUTION: The objective lubrication oil is prepared by mixing a lubrication oil composed of a mineral oil containing an extreme-pressure additive with (A) 8W20wt% of a dimer acid alkyl ester, (B) 4W15wt% of a polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether of formula (R is 6W12C alkyl; n is 6W15) and (C) 0.3W0.8pt., based on 1pt. of the component (B), of a fatty acid monoester of glycerol. The degreasing property and emulsion stability can be further improved by adding (D) 1W4wt% of a petroleum sulfonate to the oil.
