Title:
LUBRICATION STRUCTURE FOR ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018096364
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of oil mist by using a simple configuration without increasing a size of an engine.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a lubrication structure for an engine (2) including an oil passage for returning oil that has supplied from an oil pan (24) to a cylinder head (22) again to the oil pan. The oil passage is constituted by a cam chain chamber (30). A projecting portion (37) projecting in a direction resisting to flow of the oil is formed on an inner wall surface of the cam chain chamber. The projecting portion has a predetermined width in an axial direction of a crank shaft (35). The crank shaft includes a magneto rotor (42) rotating in association with driving of the engine. The magneto rotor is disposed at a position different from the projecting portion in the axial direction of the crank shaft. In the projecting portion, a notch (38) is formed on an end at a side opposite to a side at which the magneto rotor is disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
