Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spread lubrication oil over an entire thrust bearing.SOLUTION: A bearing mechanism 3 includes: a bearing section 4 provided in a cylinder block 11 and rotatably supporting a journal portion 121 of a crank shaft 12; and an approximately semicircular thrust bearing 33 provided between an end surface of the bearing section 4 and a thrust surface 122 of the crank shaft 12. On the end surface of the bearing section 4, a lubrication oil leading-out hole 45 is opened at a position opposing to an end that is located in the circumferential direction of the thrust bearing 33 and on the upstream side in the rotating direction R of the crank shaft 12 or a position adjacent to the position opposing to the end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
