To restrict the quantity of a lubricant flowing into a cylinder chamber to a necessary quantity.
The lubrication structure of the rotary type cylinder device comprises a rotating cylinder member 2 in which cylinder chambers 22 and 23 are formed, pistons 3 and 4, a piston holding member 5 for holding the pistons 3 and 4 and rotating, a casing 6, and a bearing plate for rotatably supporting the piston holding member 5. The pistons 3 and 4 are held at positions X1 and X2 respectively with certain distances from the center of rotation X of the piston holding member 5. The lubrication structure also has a first lubricant feed hole 64 formed in the piston holding member 5 for feeding the lubricant to the cylinder chambers 22 and 23 when it faces the cylinder chambers 22 and 23, a second lubricant feed hole 65 for feeding the lubricant to the first lubricant feed hole 64, and a restricting part 66 for temporarily plugging the first lubricant feed hole 64 when the first lubricant feed hole 64 is opposite to the cylinder chambers 22 and 23.
