To provide a lubrication system improving lubricant-holding power of a foamed lubricant holding a lubricant component and maintaining the amount of the lubricant at the necessary minimum, having excellent compatibility in the initial lubrication and responsive to demands of a longer life and a lower cost.

The lubrication system comprises the foamed lubricant 9 and grease 10 coexisting in the lubrication objective site. The foamed lubricant 9 contains the lubricant component in a resin which is foamed, cured and porosified. The grease 10 has 0.7 wt.% degree of oil separation at 70C after 24 h. In the initial lubrication of the lubrication objective site, at least the grease 10 is present in a sliding part of the lubrication objective site.
