To provide a lubrication system increasing lubricant-holding ability of a foam lubricant, suppressing the amount of the lubricant ooze to be the minimum of the requested, which lubricant ooze is caused by deformation of the foam lubricant, capable of making up lubrication function even when the lubricant ingredients from the foam lubricant is insufficient, and responding to requests of long-lasting and low cost.
The lubrication system has a foam lubricant and an auxiliary lubricant grease coexisting at a target lubricating position, which foam lubricant is provided by including a lubricant ingredient in a resin capable of being foamed and cured to be porous, wherein, the compounding rate of the thickener in the auxiliary lubricant grease is 10 wt.% but 40 wt.%. When illustrated as an example of a universal joint, the foam lubricant 9 and the auxiliary lubricant grease 10 having the thickener compounding ratio of 10 wt.% but 40 wt.% coexisting in the universal joint in the universal joint in which rotation torque is transmitted by linkage of truck grooves 3, 4 set on an outer element 2 and an inner element 1 with a torque transmitting element 5, and the torque transmitting element 5 is axially moved with rotation, along the truck grooves 3, 4.
