Title:
QUANTITATIVE TWO-PHASE FLOW GENERATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3222211
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for generating two-phase flow in which two-phase fluid having a desired dryness (or void fraction) can be easily and accurately produced from one original fluid and this operation can be performed at less expensive cost as compared with that of the prior art using a void meter.
CONSTITUTION: A method for generating quantitative two-phase flow is carried out such that a part of a pipe line 1 is provided with a heat feeding part 2 for heating fluid flowing within the pipe passage, an original fluid L becoming an original flow of two-phase flow of target is flowed into the pipe line 1 and then a pressure P and a temperature TIN of original fluid L are measured. An entire evaporating latent heat is calculated in reference to a saturated state of the original fluid L under the pressure P. A required heating output at the heat feeding part 2 required for obtaining the two-phase flow of target is calculated in reference to a state of the original fluid L, a drying X of the two-phase flow of target and an entire evaporating latent heat. A heater 2a at the heat feeding part 2 is electrically energized in response to the calculated heating output.
