Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a liquid flow hole from intrusion of bacilli.
CONSTITUTION: The front end opening of a liquid flow hole of a female luer connector is opened and closed by a lid body 26 energized to closing direction by a leaf spring 27. While the insert part 43 of a male luer connector 22 is formed with a liquid flow hole 46 extending therethrough axially while a cylindrical cover part 44 is fitted on the lid body 22 and the inside of the cover part 44 is sealed up by a blocking body 45. The front part 44 of the cover part 44 is a female seal body. When both luer connectors 21, 22 are connected to each other female luer connector 21 is inserted into the cover part 44 of the male luer connector 22 and the lid body 26 is opened while the blocking body 45 is broken or peeled off so that an insert part 43 is separably taper-joined with the liquid flow hole 29. The inner peripheral surface of a seal body 52 is stuck to the outer peripheral surface of the female luer connector 21 to seal up the inside of the cover part 44.
