To reduce the abrasion and breakage of lugs and prevent coming off of a rubber crawler from rollers by using a rubber composition blended with a specific quantity of fatty acid amide into raw material rubber for the lug rubber protruded from the inner face of the rubber crawler.
Lugs 3 are protruded from the inner peripheral face of a rubber crawler 1, and the lugs 3 are formed with a rubber composition blended with fatty acid amide of 5-40 pts.wt. against raw material rubber of 100 pts.wt. A rubber composition blended with ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene powder of 5-40 pts.wt. against the raw material rubber of 100 pts.wt. or a rubber composition blended with fatty acid amide of 5-40 pts.wt. and ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene powder of 5-40 pts.wt. against the raw material rubber of 100 pts.wt. can be used. The coefficient of friction of the lugs 3 is made 1/2-1/4 of the conventional value, and such problems as the abrasion-resistant performance of the lug side faces, the coming off of the rubber crawler from rollers, and the energy loss during a travel are resolved.
