To provide a luggage room structure for an automobile capable of being also provided with two functions of receiving/supporting a board by one hooking device and of obtaining an engagement part for engaging/fixing a luggage on the board by a rope or the like.

The hooking device 41 arranged on an inner wall part of the luggage room 20 is provided with a hooking part 49 provided with a first engagement part 46 and a second engagement part 47; and a pivot support part 51 for pivotally supporting the hooking part 49 between the respective engagement parts 46, 47. The pivot support part 51 is supported on a recession part 42a of the inner wall part of the luggage room 20, and the hooking part 49 is turned between the storage state where the respective engagement parts 46, 47 are also stored in the recession part 42a and the use state where the first engagement part 46 is projected to the luggage room 20 to support the board 40 and the second engagement part 47 is faced/exposed to the luggage room 20.
