To provide a method and an effective preparation method for manufacturing a luminaire mainly comprising a ring shaped part such that a light source creates atmospheric light with reduced dazzling.

In the luminaire, the ring shaped part (1) has an optical reflective surface at a side (11) facing a slit (3) such that the atmospheric light with reduced brightness is provided. In manufacturing, it is not necessary to engage or melt each ring shaped part with or in a supporting part. The manufacturing method includes steps of (1) previously providing a part as the ring supporting part on a cylinder, and (2) forming slits on the cylinder so as to make the ring shaped part connected to the ring supporting part. With the steps (1) and (2), the lighting apparatus can be effectively manufactured.
