Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent illuminance of the luminaire from being towered when a louver or cover is mounted thereto by arranging in the luminaire main body two sockets for adding lamps other than a socket for one lamp.
CONSTITUTION: The main body 1 of a luminaire for fluorescent lamps which includes a reflecting plate 2 and a socket 4 for one lamp has, apart from the socket 4, two sockets 5 adapted for adding lamps and arranged opposite to each other in their horizontal direction. With this constitution, lowering of illuminance is prevented by use of the sockets 5 even when a louver or cover is mounted.
