Abstract:
To provide a luminaire that comprises a safety device for protecting an LED module (light source module) and a lighting device (power-supply unit) against overcurrent and heat generation caused by such an abnormal state as bad electrical contact of a conductor connection part within a connector between the LED module (light source module) and the lighting device (power-supply unit).SOLUTION: A luminaire 1 comprises: a light source part 51; a power source part 71; a connector 52 on a cable run for supplying electric power from the power source part 71 to the light source part 51; and a thermal fuse 31. The thermal fuse 31 is provided with a fuse element that is fused at a predetermined temperature. When a temperature of the connector 52 exceeds the predetermined temperature, the luminaire shuts off the supply of the electric power to a power source 411 by fusing the fuse element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
