Title:
LUMINAIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005197028
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a luminaire controlled by a pyroelectric infrared-ray sensor (human body sensor) prevented from erroneous operation of self-flickering.

The luminaire comprises a fluorescent lamp or an incandescent lamp 2 and the pyroelectric infrared-ray sensor (pyroelectric sensor) 3 covered by a semi-translucent globe 4 (made of polyethylene or the like transmitting infrared-ray from a human body)under a main body 1, and lights the lamp 2 when the human body is detected by the sensor 3. The human body detecting function is made ineffective and the lamp 2 is forcibly turned into a whole light lighting mode during a prescribed period (for example, 30 second) soon after turning on the power, and after finishing the whole lamp lighting mode, the ineffectiveness of the human body detecting function is continued until the output of the lamp 2 intermediately falls down.
