Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of suppressing luminance of leaked light from a curve part of an optical fiber constituting an optical fiber kitted body, and also visually recognizing a pattern expressed on the optical fiber knitted body by the leaked light.SOLUTION: A luminaire includes an optical fiber knitted body including a plurality of curve parts formed by knitting a plurality of optical fibers, a light source part configured to make visible light incident into the optical fibers, and an exterior body in which the optical fiber knitted body is sealed. The curve part is curved at such a curvature that when the visible light is made incident into the optical fibers, light leaks to the outside of the optical fibers. The exterior body approaches or contacts with the optical fiber knitted body to cover the optical fiber knitted body, reflects part of leaked light, and transmits or diffuses part thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
