Abstract:

PURPOSE: To brightly illuminate a document stand, to make it easy to attach and remove the document stand and to provide good appearance even with the document stand removed.

CONSTITUTION: A bent pipe portion 31 is freely rotatably provided to a support body 24 having a built-in lighting device. A cylindrical mating portion 32 is provided at the end portion of the bent pipe portion 31. A chassis 33 having a pair of lamp sockets 38 mounted thereto is projected from the inside of the bent pipe portion 31. One end of a lamp shade 41 is fitted with the mating portion 32 of the bent pipe portion 31. The mating portion 54 of a cap body 51 is fitted with the other end of the lamp shade 4. The cap body 51 is rotated to drive a mounting screw 56 into the tapped hole 36 of the chassis 33 so as to clamp the cap body in place. Circular holes 69, 69 in support arms 66, 67 on both sides of a document stand 61 are freely rotatably fitted with the respective mating portions 32, 54. When the cap body 51 is rotated and clamped the support arms 66, 67 are held in place between the bent pipe portion 31 and the lamp shade 41 and between the lamp shade 41 and the cap body 51, respectively.
