To obtain a lighting device and a lighting system that can set a delay time appropriately.SOLUTION: A lighting device according to the present disclosure includes a light source, a lighting circuit that lights the light source, and a control circuit that controls the lighting circuit so as to increase the dimming rate of the light source when a human sensor detects the presence of a person, and to decrease the dimming rate of the light source after the elapse of a delay time when the human sensor detects the absence of the person, and the control circuit changes the delay time on the basis of frequency in which people are present or frequency in which people are absent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
