Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission device having a novel structure that performs light emission of narrow angle light distribution and light emission of wide angle light distribution.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 10 includes a photoluminescence layer 30 that emits light upon receiving excitation light, and a light emitting surface 40 that is located on the photoluminescence layer 30 and emits light generated from the photoluminescence layer 30. The light emitting surface 40 includes a first region 40a and a second region 40b, and light emitted from the photoluminescence layer 30 contains first light having a wavelength λa in the air. The directional angle of the first light emitted from the first region 40a is smaller than the directional angle of the first light emitted from the second region 40b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
