Abstract:
To provide a light emitting device which enables batwing light distribution, in which color unevenness of light distribution is improved, without using a secondary lens.SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes: a base substance 101 having conductor wiring 102; a light emitting element 105 placed on the base substance 101 and electrically connected with the conductor wiring 102; and a translucent sealing member 108 covering the light emitting element 105. The sealing member 108 has a protruding shape. A height of the sealing member 108 is longer than a width of a bottom surface of the sealing member 108 when viewed in an optical axis L direction.
