This luminescent ornament comprises a light emitting unit 3 where a light emitting material 3A (EL fiber, EL sheet, EL panel, or the like) is jointed to a lock-type connector 3C, and a power-supply unit 2 to supply power to the light emitting unit 3. The power-supply unit 2 consists of an antenna part 2A, a circuit part 2B and a connector 2C attached to the lock-type connector 3C. The luminescent ornament, perceiving radio wave on receipt of a call and/or a call in progress, informs a service condition of a cellular phone whether it's in use or not. The light emitting unit 3, chosen from several kinds of light emitting units 3 different in colors and appearance, is changeably attached to the power-supply unit 2.
