Abstract:

To provide a compact and light-weight luminous energy adjusting device that is reduced in electric power consumption.

A base plate that supports a plurality of diaphragm blades to be openable and closable is molded of a resin material into which electroconductive fibers are mixed, the face thereof being in sliding contact with the diaphragm blades is formed of an etched convexo-concave surface, and the plurality of diaphragm blades are formed by die-cutting a resin sheet; and the diaphragm blades are so supported on the base plate as to cause the rounded face formed in die-cutting to be in contact with the sliding contact face; this configuration enables the base plate to excel in mechanical point strength and temperature characteristics and to be reduced in frictional resistance with the blades even if it is configured in a small size.
