Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous flux control member capable of obtaining desired light distribution characteristics.SOLUTION: A luminous flux control member 1, which has a through-hole along a central axis and controls light distribution of light emitted from a light source, has: a light passing part A positioned at an area in which the inner diameter of the through-hole becomes minimum; an incident region B in which the inner diameter of the through-hole is widened from the light passing part toward one end side of the through-hole; an emission region D in which the inner diameter of the through-hole is widened from the light passing part toward the other end side of the through-hole; and a reflection region C whose outer diameter is widened from the one end side toward the other end side. Out of light emitted from the center of the light source in the case where the central axis and an optical axis of the light source are matched, an inner luminous flux within a predetermined range is allowed to pass through the light passing part while an emission angle is kept as it was emitted; an outer luminous flux larger than the predetermined range out of light emitted from the center of the light source is made to enter the incident region; the reflection region allows the incident outer luminous flux to make total reflection; the emission region emits the outer luminous flux reflected on the reflection region; and the outer luminous flux emitted from the emission region has a peak in the central axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
