Abstract:
To provide a luminous flux control member which can be suitably fixed to a substrate using an adhesive without reference to a difference between the thermal expansion coefficient of the substrate and the thermal expansion coefficient of the luminous flux control member, and to provide a light-emitting device having the luminous flux control member, a surface light source device having the light-emitting device, and a display device having the surface light source device.SOLUTION: In a surface light source device 100, a luminous flux control member 160 has an incidence surface 161a that makes light emitted from a light-emitting element 150 incident, an emission surface from which the light made incident on the incidence surface 161a is emitted, and a fixed leg 163 which is arranged on the reverse side of the luminous flux control member 160, and bonded to a substrate 140. The fixed leg 163 is arranged closer to the center of gravity of the luminous flux control member 160 in plan view than the mid-point between the center of gravity and an arbitrary point of an outer edge of the luminous flux control member 160.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
