PURPOSE: To provide a cutting device for lump form food, with which denaturing associate with the cutting process can be prevented and with which the cut food is prevented from being crushed when it passes between cutting edges.

CONSTITUTION: A lump food cutting device is composed of a cutting part 3 equipped with a plurality of parallel cutting edges 2 and a food pressing body 6 movable freely so as to be approaching and apart from the cutting part 3, wherein the cutting edges 2 are arranged recessedly one by one so that those which are located nearer the center will be remote from the food pressing body 6 in its moving direction and those which are positioned outermore be close thereto, characterized by that the distance between the mating surfaces of adjoining cutting edges 2 remains constant over the whole length in the moving direction of the body 6.
