Abstract:
To provide an effective manufacturing method of a hot-rolled plate having not only high-strength, refined crystal grains, and excellent surface properties, but also being manufactured at low cost, while evading dependence on increase in Mg.
In the manufacturing method of an Al-Mg-based alloy hot-rolled plate, a soaked ingot is subjected to hot rough rolling and thereafter to final hot-finish rolling. The final hot-finish rolling is carried out at strain rate of ≥10/s under the condition that working temperature is ≥250°C and ≤400°C and reduction ratio is >50%.
