Abstract:
To provide an SmFeN-based anisotropic magnetic powder which is improved in magnetic characteristics and of which the oxygen content is reduced, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for an SmFeN-based anisotropic magnetic powder including the steps of: preparing a pre-dispersion SmFeN-based anisotropic magnetic powder containing Sm, Fe, W and N; and dispersing the pre-dispersion SmFeN-based anisotropic magnetic powder using resin-coated metal media or resin-coated ceramic media. The present invention also relates to an SmFeN-based anisotropic magnetic powder which contains Sm, Fe, W and N and of which the average particle diameter is smaller than 2.5 μm, residual magnetization σr is equal to or more than 130 emu/g and the oxygen content is equal to or less than 0.75 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
