To provide a association method of DNA and cDNA clones capable of easily obtaining a cDNA clone corresponding to DNA written in a database, and a table created by the method.
Base sequences in each file of a GeneChip database are used to perform homology retrieval of a FANTOM DB. Base sequences with no homology detected are used to perform homology retrieval of a third cDNA database, and each base sequence of clones with detected homology is used to perform homology retrieval of the FANTOM DB. Whether or not an amino acid sequence is included in a file of the FANTOM DB with homology detected in any step is retrieved. Each clone with no amino acid detected is used to perform homology retrieval of a fourth database, whether or not the amino acid sequence is included in a file of the FANTOM DB corresponding to a clone with detected homology is retrieved to create a correspondence table.
