Abstract:
To provide a method for making an ingot for producing an Fe-Ni base alloy material, such as shadow mask, having good grade to uneven etching with a vacuum arc remelting method(VAR).
Heat transfer medium is fed into gap between a mold and the ingot during remelting with the vacuum arc remelting method and the convective transfer heat is generated between both to reduce the variation of the integrated heat transfer rate between both.
